Course Details
Designed for OTs by an OT with Lived Experience
The Restore Refresh Revive course is designed specifically for OTs who are feeling burnt out and exhausted or who are keen to learn more about managing and preventing burnout.
The course is structured around 6 Core Modules which are designed to be worked through sequentially at your own pace and include videos, questionnaires, reflective worksheets and exploration of a range of resources to deepen your knowledge and understanding of burnout and what to do about it.
Restore, Refresh, Revive commences with an exploration of burnout through an occupational therapy lens and considering the Person, Environment and Occupational factors that contribute to burnout. Lived experience and professional experiences of burnout and compassion fatigue are shared to understand the breadth of individuals affected by burnout. The course then shifts to exploring a range of strategies and approaches to manage and recover from burnout including addressing causal factors, building compassion resilience, implementing self-care practices and meaningful rest, managing boundaries, self compassion and reconnecting with meaningful OT principles and practices for work satisfaction and engagement.
You will be guided through a process of developing a Burnout Recovery and Prevention Action Plan for ongoing use to sustainably move forward in your professional journey.
